When KTU New York first aired on February 9th 1996 the first song played was "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C&C Music Factory. Its dance based CHR format quickly propelled the station to number one and a star was born! Our classic KTU package was custom designed around ten individual music themes, perfect for the dance music format. Each theme is delivered with alternate ramp, transition and shotgun versions for maximum usability.
